The followings are pictures from the awarding ceremony at Con Chim
elementary school. This is the only elementary school in the island
villages that offered up to fifth grade. Schools in the other island villages
only offer up to third grade. Most of them only offer first and second grade.
A student must commute to Con Chim elementary school for continuing
education.
This ceremony honored 100 best students selected from 25 classes from
first to fifth grade in all island-villaged schools. Just like in Giao Thanh,
each student got a set of academic books to be used in the next grade
level. The first-rank student of each class got, in addition, a storybook
for leisure reading.
